Genuine OEM Lochinvar PLT2604 Flame Sensor (100165921)

This is an Genuine OEM Lochinvar Flame Sensor, also referred to as flame sensor rod, used in EnergyRite (model ERN/ERL) pool & spa heaters. This sensor detects the burner flame to ensure safe gas valve operation by sending a signal back to the main control board, proving to the heater that a safe, successful ignition has happened. If the burner fails to light, or if the flame accidentally blows out while running, the sensor stops sending that signal, and the control board automatically shuts off the gas valve.
