Genuine OEM Lochinvar PLT3025 Spark Ignitor (100165932)

This is an Genuine OEM Lochinvar Spark Ignitor used in EnergyRite (model ERN/ERL) pool & spa heaters, which generates a strong, consistent electrical spark to ensure smooth burner ignition and prevent startup delays. This Spark Ignitor works with the Lochinvar PLT2604 Flame Sensor (100165921) to ignite the burner gas safely. When the heater calls for heat, the main control board sends a high-voltage pulse down the insulated ignition wire directly to the tip of the Spark Ignitor. The voltage jumps across a tightly measured gap at the tip of the rod, creating a continuous, high-intensity electrical spark. Simultaneously, the gas valve opens. As the gas passes through the burner chamber, it hits this intense electrical spark and ignites instantly. Once lit, the spark cuts off, and the flame sensor monitors for consistent flame.
