Is a non-chlorine granular oxidizer for shock treatment of swimming pools. New/Blue Oxy-Brite now has a distinctive blue color that identifies America’s original non-chlorine shock treatment formulations from all others. By oxidizing chloramines and other impurities, water sparkle and clarity is restored. Unpleasant chlorine odors are eliminated and eye and skin irritation is prevented. Will not bleach or damage vinyl liners, solar covers, or swimsuits. No need to close down pool or spa after shocking. Prevents chloramine build-up. Reduces chlorine or bromine demand, making chlorine or bromine sanitizers more effective.
Dosage:
- Initial treatment 2 lb. per 10,000 gallons of water.
