This is an Genuine OEM Lochinvar 2″ Flange Gasket used in EnergyRite (model ERN/ERL) pool & spa heaters, which creates a secure, leak-proof seal at the water connection. It is placed directly between the heat exchanger header and the 2-inch water supply piping (flange union) where water enters and leaves the heater, to prevent leaks and handle thermal expansion.
