PROtech® Super ProShock is a premium, multipurpose sanitizer and oxidizer which, when dissolved in water, releases a minimum of 70% available chlorine. It functions as a shock and destroys the organic contaminants in pools, resulting in crystal clear water. When used as directed, this product provides effective control of bacteria, algae and contaminants in swimming pools. Super ProShock is available in convenient 1 lb. bags, as well as 5 lb. & 50 lb. buckets.

APPLICATION:
Ensure all pool equipment is clean and works properly and pH levels are between 7.2 – 7.6. With pump running, broadcast product over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool during the evening hours. When using a re-sealable container, always use a clean dry scoop to measure. When using a single bag, always use entire contents of the open bag. Available chlorine level must be between 1- 4 ppm before re-entering the pool. Note: Prolonged contact with pool surface may cause staining or bleaching.
Routine Chlorination:
- For unstabilized pools, use 5-7 ounces per 10,000 gallons daily or as needed.
- For stabilized pools, use 3-5 ounces per 10,000 gallons every other day or as needed.
- Weekly shock maintenance:
- Check and adjust pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness levels to label recommendations.
- Shock treat using 9-18 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water to provide 5-10 ppm available chlorine. Additional shocking may be required depending on water conditions.
Algae treatment:
When used properly, this product controls the formation of algae. However, if algae develops, pour product as close to algae as possible.
Follow “Weekly Shock” directions and immediately scrub affected area and vacuum through filter. Repeat if necessary.
